The Andersson family photo is so especially heartbreaking whole families lost, without ever been given the chance for survival. Photographs of victims and survivors are even more important. I appreciated the original photographs from construction side by side with the objects as they look now. So many stories still need to be told, and this guide tells at least a few. I've see the exhibit several times and it never ceases to amaze and sadden me. Until next time, take life one page at a time! That perverse question has plagued me for years until I finally looked it up (you will have to find that out for yourself too). They did leave out some information, like what happened to the floating dead bodies. This souvenir I took home takes all that information, breaks it down and gives you the important, detailed information (though I still do not know why they call it a poop deck) and a lot of photos.

I have seen the movie, watched TV documentaries and listened to stories. At the end of the exhibit, there is a book of all the passengers or crew members where you can look up your boarding pass to see the outcome of the person you embody while there. Putting your hand on the iceberg and feeling the breathtaking, almost Artic, cold temperature makes you contemplate your strength if put in that situation (I know I could not bear the cold water). As you walk through the exhibit, you can allow yourself to feel as though that passenger did. When you first arrive to the exhibit, you are handed a boarding pass with the names, class and reason for going to America. Though to see how items have survived for 100 years in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean in person gives you a connection that cannot be matched.
Included are photos of real artifacts brought up from the ocean floor. This short book gives you the timeline of Titanic, from the idea to the preservation of artifacts.
